Cinemas around Glasgow

Cineworld

Silverburn Shopping Centre, 763 Barrhead Rd, Glasgow G53 6AG, UK – 0330 333 4444

When the Silverburn Cineworld first opened, I was annoyed by the spotlights on the HUGE red Cineworld decals either side of the screen - very distracting! However, they've stopped that and now take the house lights right down on my last few visits, for which I'm extremely grateful. I still can't resubscribe to Unlimited as long as the allocated seating policy remains (it doesn't make sense outside of peak times like Friday night or Saturday) but the Silverburn location is very well run and the Superscreen is very impressive and just about worth the extra couple of pounds for regular customers.

excellent for me cos I live within walking distance. got a hotdog, small popcorn and large juice with my ticket to see MI Fallout for just over 20quid. deer but I was satisfied

Theatres for Glasgow

Eastwood Park Theatre and Gallery

Council Headquarters, Eastwood Park,, Rouken Glen Rd, Giffnock G46 6UG, UK – 0141 577 4956

I have been to lots of shows here- mainly amateur dramatics. I have enjoyed every show I have seen here and they have all been great value. All of the seats in the theatre offer a great view due to the size of the place. My daughter's dancing display was also held here and we all had a great time at the show.

Decent size and good seating. Could do with decent air-conditioning.
